Baby things with Texture Magic

Here are a few baby items I've made using Texture Magic and Texture Magic patterns. "Little Charmers" includes little blocks experimenting with cotton, flannel and minky type fabrics. It's a small quilt a little child can carry around and the pattern includes the cute little taggie toy.

The "Bubbly Babbies" quilt is larger and eight of the 6" blocks are textured using various machine stitching with variegated thread. The light blue blocks, next to the textured blocks, reflect similar stitching... very fun!

"Little Miss Sunshine" is an adorable dress that's supposed to fit 6 months - 1 year olds. It should fit my new granddaughter this summer --- can't wait! The hat and bodice are textured, again with variegated thread. The pattern includes the bloomers, bows, everything!

Texture Magic On The Town purse

The center panel of this purse was textured using a multiple zig zag stitch in rows with silver metalic thread on the bobbin. I stitched from the Texture Magic side and when it was steamed I just loved the look. Isn't it elegant?

Texture Magic project

Texture Magic is the most fun new product on the sewing and quilting scene. This is the Texture Magic Tote and Accessories, my first project! Using Texture Magic is a easy as 1 - 2 - 3.
1. Stitch Texture Magic to the wrong side of a piece of material.
2. Apply steam to the Texture Magic.
3. Watch the MAGIC as it shrinks creating texture to the fabric.
